Howdy folks! Tennessee Jed Fisher here!
I'd love to send you a free CD! Just pay $5 Shipping & Handling!

Lets be real. You probably just discovered me and my music online recently, and you don't really know me from Adam.

My name is Tennessee Jed Fisher, and I was born in the great state of Tennessee, though these days I wander around the country. I make modern music with traditional acoustic instruments in a style some refer to as Newgrass or Americana. Let's just say there's lots of banjo and fiddle!!!

I used to just go by the name TN Jed, but some folks thought I was a Grateful Dead tribute. So I re-branded, using my last name. I released several albums under the old name, and it turns out I have a whole box of old Pimpgrass CDs that don't have the new branding. The website is wrong and everything! I thought, "Why not give them away for the cost of shipping?!?" I'm serious! Just pay $5 for shipping (donations graciously accepted!), and I will personally mail a CD to your address! When the box is empty, the deal is over. Now I present to you my 2018 release, Pimpgrass!!!

I co-produced Pimpgrass with my buddy, banjo legend Scott Vestal, at his Digital Underground Studio in Nashville, TN. Blending bluegrass music with funk and soul, it features an all-star band of pickers and singers, including myself of guitar and vocals, Vestal on banjo, Todd Parks (Sam Bush) on bass, Grammy winner, Luke Bulla (Ricky Skaggs, Lyle Lovett), on fiddle and vocals, Patrick McAvinue (Dailey & Vincent) on mandolin, Andy Hall (Infamous Stringdusters) on Dobro, Josh Shilling (Mountain Heart) on keys and vocals, Bob Mummert (Dailey & Vincent, Roy Orbison) on drums and percussion, and Aaron McCune (Dailey & Vincent) on bass vocal. I'd hate for it to be forgotten just because I changed names! Very limited quantities are available, but I want to make sure you get one. Help me keep the music alive!

Features the original hits, "Soul-Country Pimpgrass" and "Can't Get There From Here" as well as fun covers of "Kiss" by Prince and "Shout" by the Everly Brothers (made famous by the classic movie, Animal House!!!)

We had a blast in the studio, and I think you can really hear it in the music! Check it out and tell me I'm wrong!

"The most fun project I've ever been a part of."

- Scott Vestal (2020-2021 IBMA Banjo Player of the Year

I know I'm just some dude on the internet, so I want to be up front about what you can expect when you take me up on this free CD offer. Upon receiving your order, I will personally open and sign your CD, package it up nicely from my RV where I live and ship it to you myself. No robots involved. I also like to throw in extra goodies from time to time, such as handwritten notes, stickers, pins, magnets, who knows? It's only $5 to ship, but you can tip whatever you like if you're feeling generous. If you don't like it, for whatever reason, I will refund your money, no questions asked.

I am a seeker of truth, beauty, and kindness, and my fans are the most important thing to me. I manage this whole operation by myself, deciding to cut out the middle man and reach out to potential fans directly. I hope you'll check it out my music. I know you will enjoy it. Thanks for being a supporter of independent music!
